The Ceará:

The implantation of the Industrial and Port Complex Governador Mario Covas,result of the partnership of the Government of the State of the Ceará with the Federal Government and the private initiative, has the objective to fortify and to give sustentabilidade to the growth of the industrial park of Ceara and the Northeast , making possible the promotion of integrated industrial activities, in order to constitute a nucleus of irradiation of the development, generation of job and income and regional integration. Endowed with the infrastructure necessary to guarantee conditions of sustentabilidade to an industrial park petrochemical and metal-mechanic and, especially a modern port terminal, in conditions to propitiate efficient port operations, with competitive tariffs, free and independent accesses road and railroad ,caused by urban centers. The Industrial Complex and Port,Governador Mario Covas , aims to propitiate conditions for the economic development of the region with social justice and protection to the environment, being permanent values of the enterprise the maintenance of adequate conditions of balance of the ecosystem and preservation of the natural resources not renew and the guarantee of the quality of life of the populations, especially how much to the rationality of the space occupation and use of the natural resources of the region.
